Michele Brenner is the Founder and Principal of Brenner Brand Marketing LLC. 

 

Previously a Director of Marketing at Scotts Miracle-Gro, Michele has over a decade of corporate experience growing branded businesses with Scotts Miracle-Gro, Campbell Soup and DMB&B (working on the Procter & Gamble advertising account). She is known for being results-oriented and highly effective, having posted double-digit sales and profitability gains for several businesses including V8 Splash, Scotts TurfBuilder fertilizer products, Scotts Pure Premium Grass Seed and Scotts Spreaders.

 

Michele has been moderating focus groups since 2005. Her natural curiosity about people, classical consumer packaged goods marketing training and Michele’s business management background combine to make her brand of qualitative research insightful and action-oriented for the end user. In 2009 Michele continued her qualitative research education at the well respected RIVA training institute earning a 9+ out of 10 rating in the Advanced Moderating course, which has a prerequisite of moderating more than 50 focus groups. Michele has also participated in several QRCA (Qualtitative Research Consultants Association) workshops over the past few years to stay current on the latest developments in qualitative research.

Her career in brand management has given Michele extensive experience across a broad range of areas including new product development; market research; project management; team leadership; marketing plan development; brand positioning; advertising development; media planning; package design; customer presentations; pricing; public relations; consumer and trade promotion; P&L management; budgeting; manufacturing; and logistics.

 

Michele holds an M.B.A. from Thunderbird, School of Global Management in Glendale, Arizona and a B.A. from the University of Oregon in Eugene, Oregon.  She lives in Dublin, Ohio with her husband and their three young children.
